Youth Protection Training

Why is YPT (article link) so important? Because a safe environment is best achieved when everyone is trained and fully aware, whether explicitly required or not. Troop 21 and BSA take this seriously and so should you.

Training can be done quickly online; go to myscouting.org and log-in or create an account. Upon completion, give a copy of your YPT certificate to the Troop 21 Training Coordinator: Marla Gordon.

Description: The next district-wide MBC Training session will be graciously hosted by Troop 835. Check-in begins at 6:45 p.m. and the training begins at 7:00 p.m. (I still start on time) and runs for 90 minutes, because we're now using National's MBC Training PowerPoint, which is the most up-to-date information available. The training is still free and you register directly with me at drgwandsp@msn.com, NOT through DoubleKnot at Council. When you register, please include your name and unit number. Deadline to pre-register is Wednesday, June 26, 5:00 p.m. However, drop-ins are welcome, as always. I request you arrange to leave your children at home or with friends, as the host troop is not meeting that night.
